Mary A Dressen

Mary A. Dressen, 89, of Fort Dodge passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the Marian Home. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home and 11:00 AM at Corpus Christi Church with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow in Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will be 9:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Mary is survived by her children, Peg (Denny) Halligan of Fort Dodge, Richard (Nancy) Dressen of Ankeny, and Deb (Don) Halligan of Fort Dodge; grandchildren, Chuck (Brenda) Halligan, Andrea (Chad) Daniel, Dan (Kim) Halligan, Ben (Bethany) Halligan, Anthony (Becky) Dressen, Nick (Liz) Dressen, Christy (Tony) Schulte, and Beth (Greg) Moorhouse; and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Alice (Doheny) Kehoe; husband, Earl Dressen in 2004; brothers, Cecil, Jim and Mick Kehoe. Mary Alice Kehoe was born December 6, 1929 in Henderson, MN. She graduated from High School in Henderson. Following her education, she worked as an accountant in St. Paul, MN and later worked at Green Giant in Le Seur, MN. On October 14, 1950 she was united in marriage to Earl Dressen. The couple made their home on a farm near Green Isle, MN. Upon Earl's retirement in 1985, the couple moved to Fort Dodge. They enjoyed spending summers and time with family at Lake Manuella, MN for over 50 years. Mary also enjoyed knitting and baking. Memorials may be left to family discretion.
