Colleen "Corky" Prelip

Colleen "Corky" Prelip, 88, of Fort Dodge passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the Marian Home.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. (PLEASE NOTE THE DATE) Burial will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will be one hour prior at the funeral home.

Colleen is survived by her sons David (Jona) Prelip of Fort Dodge, Dwight Prelip of Savage, MN, Derek (Cathleen) Prelip of Fort Dodge, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Eugene R. and Hazel (Knowles) Moore.

Mary Colleen Moore was born April 8, 1936, in Fort Dodge. She was raised and educated in Fort Dodge, graduating from Fort Dodge Senior High School. She then attended Iowa Central Community College to earn her Nurses' Aide degree. Corky worked as a CPA for many years and retired as a CPN. She loved to sew especially needlepoint and quilting. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish. Corky will be greatly missed.
