Mary E. McBride, 95, of Osage, formerly of Fort Dodge, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2015 at the Osage Rehab and Healthcare Center. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Rev. Andrea Kraushaar, Pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Survivors include her daughters, Marilyn Haatvedt of Ankeny; Joyce Welter of Montrose CO; Jerald Decker of Cypress, CA; Francis Decker of Mission Viejo, CA; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Owen and Myrtle (Whities) Bueoy; husband, Harry; siblings, Herman Bueoy; Ruth Bueoy; Edwin Bueoy; Ralph Bueoy; Lawrence Bueoy; Illeen Clark and Ardis Birchard. Mary E. Bueoy was born December 11, 1919 in Ticonic, IA. She moved with her parents as a child to Mapleton and attended grade school there. They later moved to Webster City where Mary went to high school. She then became employed at Newberry's Dime store as a clerk. Mary was married to Pearl Decker of Fort Dodge in 1938. The couple later divorced. In 1958, Mary was then united in marriage to Harry McBride in Sioux Falls, SD. They established their home in Fort Dodge, and Mrs. McBride was employed as a clerk for 25 years at Kresge's Department Store. She later worked for K-Mart until her retirement. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
