Mary Ellen (Decker) Page, 94, of Crosby, MN went home to be with Jesus in the evening of July 24, 2024 in her assisted living residence at Heartwood Care Center. She moved in 2017 from Blue Springs, MO to be closer to some family

members.

Mary Ellen was born on January 12, 1930 to Marion and Lillan Decker on the farm near Lohrville, IA. Mary Ellen graduated from the Lohrville High School with the Class of 1948. In high school she was active in the Drama Club and band. During her young farm life,

she worked hard on the farm, enjoyed trapping with her brother, spending time fishing and boating, roller skating and attending stock car races. In her adult life she worked in food service and as a retail jewelry sales associate, retiring from JC Penny’s after many years of selling "bling". She enjoyed being with her family, entertaining guests, cooking, gardening and arranging flowers, creating beautiful crafts and art. She always had a project in the works. Her projects have now come to an end.

Mary Ellen was survived by her brother, Darrel (Marilyn), three daughters, Sally (Gary), Nancy, and Mary Lou, two step-daughters, Kathy (Steve), and Caroline, eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, one niece, and four nephews. She was

preceded in death by her parents, first and second husbands, one grandson, and two step-sons.

The celebration of Mary Ellen’s life will be on July 31, 2024. A 12:30pm visitation and 1:00pm funeral service will take place at in Rockwell City IA at the Palmer and Swank Funeral Home, 528 Main St. Luncheon gathering to follow graveside service at the

Rockwell City Community Center.

In lieu of flowers memorials will be directed to St. Croix Hospice and Heartwood Senior Living in honor of Mary Ellen.
