September 11, 1922 — February 15, 2019

Mary Margaret Nolan, 96, of Fort Dodge, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 15, 2019. She was surrounded by her family and the amazing Marian Home staff. Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 22, 2019 in the Chapel of the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Burial will follow in Corpus Christi Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Mary was born in Fort Dodge on September 11,1922, to parents Robert and Mabel Crannie. She attended Fort Dodge schools and married Eugene 'Gene' Nolan on April 25, 1946. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. Her life was one spent serving others. She was active for many years with Catholic Charities, Catholic Daughters of America and along with her husband, fostered many children nurturing them and giving them a safe haven during their hardest of times. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Nolan; parents Robert and Mabel Crannie and 10 siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (John) Anderson, Shakopee MN; son John (Mary) Nolan, Fort Dodge; five grandchildren, Kathy (Todd) Langmade, Minnetonka MN; Christopher Anderson, Chaska MN; Sarah (Drew) Fesler, Minneapolis MN; Angela (Dave) Moench, Des Moines; Ryan Nolan, Fort Dodge; 11 great-grandchildren Kevin (Sara), Tara and Alyssa Langmade; Maggie Anderson; Mackenzie, Eli and Wyatt Fesler; Michael and Ava Moench; Aubrey and Madison Nolan; two great-great grandchildren Kallum and Elena Langmade. She is also survived by her sister Helen Keyser. She will be greatly missed but we rejoice that she has entered into her Heavenly home and is with Jesus. We look forward to that day when we will be reunited. Memorials in honor of Mary may be directed to St. Edmond Catholic School.
