Mary Thorpe

Mary Andrews Thorpe, 66, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. Mary's wishes were to be cremated and that no services be held. Laufersweiler Funeral Home is serving the family. Survivors include her friend Earl Warren Jr., and Nicole Dornath both of Fort Dodge, her beloved dogs Yona and Mailey. Mary was born on March 21, 1957, in Stone Mountain, GA, where she was raised and educated. She worked picking peaches, cotton, and pecans. In the early 2000's Mary moved to Fort Dodge, Iowa. For years she worked at Van Tech as an Operator in Webster City until he health forced her to retire. She enjoyed listening to music, riding her Harley, driving around in her Firebird, and time spent with her friends. Mary was a kind hearted soul.
