Neil Wuebker

Neil G. Wuebker, 64, of Rockwell City passed away Friday, January 24, 2025 at Fonda Specialty Care.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Thursday, January 30, 2025 at St. Francis Catholic Church. Burial will be at a later date. A visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at the church with a Rosary beginning at 4:30 PM.

Neil is survived by his wife, Donita Wuebker of Rockwell City; children, Nicholas Wuebker, Nathan Wuebker, and Justin (Danielle) Wuebker all of Rockwell City; grandchildren, Emmett Wuebker and Isabelle and Brigham Wuebker; 11 brothers and 5 sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert and Melvina (Hoffman) Wuebker and daughter-in-law, Lorraine Wuebker.

Neil Gerard Wuebker was born November 9, 1960 in Carroll, IA. He moved to the Rockwell City area with his family and graduated from Rockwell City High School. On June 21, 1991 he was united in marriage to Donita Carstens at St. Francis Catholic Church in Rockwell City. Neil worked various jobs and most recently at Opportunity Living. Neil loved farming. He liked to take a tractor and go check out the fields. He enjoyed fishing especially in the Spirit Lake and Okoboji area. He was an avid John Wayne fan and he loved the Iowa State Cyclones and the Chicago Bears. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family. Neil loved being a grandpa.
