Nicholas A. Lacina, 20, of Fort Dodge passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017 at his home. A Celebration of Life will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Carmody officiating. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery. A visitation will be Wednesday, October 25 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Nicholas is survived by his father, Todd Lacina; mother, Lisa Frank (Joe Bergman); sisters, Kelsey, MaKenzie, Kylee; grandparents, Lester and Debbie Lacina and grandmother, Bonnie Frank all of Fort Dodge; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and his future, beautiful baby to be born in June 2018. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Don Frank. Nicholas Alan Lacina was born May 15, 1997 in Fort Dodge. He began his education in the Fort Dodge Public School System and graduated from North High School in Sioux CIty. He was currently attending Iowa Central Community College. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hiking, listening to music, playing video games, lifting weights and walking his dog, Marley. Nick lit up a room every time he entered it with his smile and beautiful, bright eyes. He will be missed by all that knew him. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
