Norma Jean Henry

Norma Jean Henry, 88, of Fort Dodge passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. A Celebration of Life service is planned for a later date. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family. Norma is survived by her husband, Robert; daughter, Mary Henry Watson and husband Steven of Texas; several cousins; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harrison and Alta (Whaley) Pease; son, Robert; sisters, Dorothy Jennings, Loraine Guthrie, Gladys Zeka; brother, Marvin Pease and step-brother, Elmer Suter. Norma Jean Pease was born March 22, 1924 in Fort Dodge. She was raised and educated in Fort Dodge. On January 6, 1942 she was united in marriage to Robert J. Henry at Corpus Christi Church. The couple established their home in Fort Dodge. Norma worked in retail for 26 years including; the Boston Store and Home Furniture Store. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
