Norman P. Kayser, 80, of Fort Dodge passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 AM Monday, April 21, 2014 at Corpus Christi Church with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery with military rites by V.F.W. post 1856. There will be a visitation one hour prior at the church. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family. Norman is survived by his wife, Geraldine; daughters, Karen Lemberg of Badger; Cathy Auten; Carol Linder; sons, David Kayser; Joseph Kayser; Robert Kayser; step-sons, Mark Brown; Jeff Brown all of Fort Dodge; 14 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and a brother, Alb Kayser of Lacrosse, WI. Norman is preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Mary (Anthony) Kayser; granddaughter, Shawna Auten; brothers, Herbert Kayser; Robert Kayser; Howard Kayser; sisters, Verena McGuire; and Corrine Chambers. Norman P. Kayser was born on November 23, 1933 in St. Joseph, Iowa. He was raised and educated in St. Joe graduating from St. Joseph High School in 1951. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1954 serving in the Korean War. Norm was employed with B and F Sales for many years. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
