Patricia A. Lawler, 81, of Boone, formerly of Fort Dodge passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. A visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Patricia is survived by her daughters, Diana Miller of Fallbrook, CA; Judith Rolow of Des Moines, IA; Katherine Rolow of Dewey, AZ; son, Shannon Rolow of Fallbrook, CA; grandchildren, Quincy Dean Seals; Kenerine; Kasey; and Isaiah Rolow. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Ella (Bradley) Stowell and twin brother, Patrick. Patricia Ann Stowell was born March 17, 1937 on a farm near Plover, Iowa. She graduated from Plover Consolidated High School in 1956. On July 28, 1956 she married Danny Rolow in Fort Dodge. After 15 years of marriage the couple divorced. In 1977, Patricia began working as a baker at Wallace-Wilson Dining Hall on the Iowa State University Campus. On July 5, 1977 she was united in marriage to Robert Lawler. The couple later divorced. She retired in 1992 to do volunteer work through various church groups and the Senior Citizens Group. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Boone. She also belonged to the Moose Lodge. Patricia enjoyed hobbies such as reading, walking, singing, and helping people in various ways. She was avid Cyclone Fan. Memorials may be left to family discretion.
