Paula Oldson

Paula F. Oldson, 62, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at her home. Funeral services will be 1:30 PM on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 in the chapel of Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home and 2:00 PM at Corpus Christi Church with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. Survivors include her husband, Bruce; sons, Zach and his wife Becky of Cincinnati, OH; Todd and his fianc Joy of Fort Dodge; 8 grandchildren, Drake; Rylee; Kennedie; Reyd; Lily; Tristen; Landyn; and Jaxson; her mother, Leona King of Fort Dodge; sisters, Cathy (Eldon) Haines of Loveland, CO; and Carolyn of Phoenix, AZ; a brother, Rocky King of Rockwell City; her beloved dog, Penny; numerous nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles. Paula was preceded in death by her paternal father, Raymond Wagner; and her father, Robert King. Paula Florence Wagner was born September 1, 1954, in Fort Dodge. She attended schools here and graduated from St. Edmond High School in 1973. On February 2, 1974, she was united in marriage to Bruce Oldson and the couple made their home in Fort Dodge. Besides being a wonderful homemaker, Paula worked for over 30 years in the produce department at Fareway. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, sewing, and making quilts. Paula loved to spend time with her family and their vacations; especially to the beaches in Mexico, Hawaii and Florida. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
