Pauline A. Benton, 93, of Fort Dodge, passed away Monday, April 3, 2023, at The Marian Home. Private graveside will be held at a later date at Corpus Christi Cemetery. To leave an online condolence for the family please visit www.laufersweilerfuneralhome.com Survivors include her daughters, Kathleen Foresi of Fort Dodge; Mary Ann Benton of Des Moines; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; numerous great great grandchildren; son-in-laws Paul Schwarxkopf, and Gene House; and daughter-in-law Brenda Schorr. She is preceded in death by her husband Daniel Benton, son Paul Benton, daughter Nancy Benton House, parents Floyd and Anna (Coady) O'Brion, and her brother Howard O'Brion. Pauline Ann O'Brion was born on January 13,1930 in Fort Dodge Iowa to Floyd and Anna O'Brion. She was raised and educated in Fort Dodge, graduating from Sacred Heart High School. On June 7, 1948 Pauline was united in marriage to Daniel Benton at the Sacred Heart Church. The couple established their home in Fort Dodge. Pauline worked for Kresge's, Target, and Kmart. Pauline was a member of Holy Trinity Church and a past member of Monica Mother's and Rosarians. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
