Polly Marie Gray

Polly M. Gray, 73, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the Fort Dodge Villa Care Center. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home, with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Corpus Christi Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include her brother, Bill Dunscombe and his wife, Jean of Humboldt; nephew, Joseph Dunscombe of Madison, WI; and her niece, Ann Meredith and her husband, Jon of Fort Riley, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Edith (George) Dunscombe, and her husband Robert J. Gray in 2012. Polly Marie Dunscombe was born on June 9, 1943, in Fort Dodge. She was raised and educated in Humboldt, graduating from Humboldt High School in 1961. Following her education, she moved to Fort Dodge. On April 27, 1974, she was united in marriage to Robert Joseph Gray at Sacred Heart Church and the couple made their home in Fort Dodge. Polly had several cats in her life that were very precious to her. She collected Coca-Cola, Elvis Presley, and Iowa Hawkeye memorabilia.
