Ralph "Mickey" Michael Fay

Ralph "Mickey" Fay, 83, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 30th at 11:00 AM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Corpus Christi Cemetery with Military Rites. Visitation will be on Thursday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Survivors include 4 children, daughters Shannan (Jeb) Knutson, Tammy (Mark) Allen, Shawn White and Demica Reeves, 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded by his father Ralph Fay, mother Margaret "Gelene" Semprini, and his wife Karen Fay in 2020. Ralph Michael Fay was born on October 18, 1938, in Fort Dodge. He was raised and educated here and graduated from St. Edmond High School in 1956. For 7 years Mickey served his country in the National Guard and later was a Police Officer for the Fort Dodge Police Department for over 25 years retiring in 1994. Mickey enjoyed time spent with his friends at Community Pizza. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
