Raymond Debruin

Gowrie Raymond DeBruin 77, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 at Pearl Valley Rehab and Nursing, Gowrie. His wishes were to have no services. Raymond is survived by his wife Sharon; sons, Michael DeBruin of Fort Dodge, Scott DeBruin of Gowrie, and Jeff DeBruin of Gowrie; grandson Lincoln DeBruin; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arie and Allie (Boone) DeBruin; and brothers, Andrew, Henry, and Arie DeBruin. Raymond DeBruin was born October 6, 1941 at Sheldon, Iowa, and he graduated from High School. Raymond served in the National Guard for several years. In 1967, he was united in marriage to Sharon Johnson at Fort Dodge. The couple made their home in Gowrie. Raymond worked as a truck driver, school bus driver, and did maintenance for the Gowrie Care center until his retirement. SERVICES No Services are planned
