Rex took immense pride in putting on the biggest and best fireworks displays (all for the kids) that everyone was welcome to attend. He spent a great deal of time at Amigo's where he paved the way for life long friendships, full belly laughs and everlasting memories for so many to enjoy. He enjoyed playing Mississippi Stud and Black Jack at the casinos in Waterloo, Jefferson, and Tama. Rex is survived by his son, Heath (Maile); grandson, Tanner (Lexi) Weiss; great granddaughters "his girls", Audree, Alayna and Adlee; ex-wife, Roxanne (Randy); siblings, Dan (Cathy) and Patty (Harold); many nieces, nephews and friends.
