Rita Anne Koll

Rita A. Koll, 94, of Mesa, Arizona passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at St. Luke's Memorial Hospital in Sioux City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Corpus Christi Church. Burial will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the church until the time of the service. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family. Rita is survived by her children, Mary Ann Mathison (Graydon) of Mesa, AZ; Pegi Reints of Spirit Lake; Paul Koll of Lake Havasu, AZ; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Elizabeth (Hannon) Goodrich; 6 siblings; husband, Michael; sons, Mike and David and great-grandson, Alex Marker Rita A. Goodrich was born June 21, 1924 in Lehigh, Iowa. She was raised and educated in Fort Dodge; graduating from Corpus Christi School in 1940. She then attended the University of Iowa. On September 19, 1942 Rita was united in marriage to Michael Koll at the Corpus Christi Church. The couple lived throughout Iowa, including Gilmore and Mallard. The couple then moved to Mesa, Arizona in 1982. Memorials may be left to Oblate Missions of San Antonia, TX; or to Hospice.
