Robert J. Morrow, 91, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Trinity Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 8th at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church with Rev. Joe Dillinger officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in Corpus Christi Cemetery with Military Rites conducted by the V.F.W. Post 1856 and the U.S. Army Honor Guard. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m. all at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife, Beulah of Fort Dodge; sons, David Morrow and his wife Cheryl of Fort Dodge; Tim Morrow and his wife Amy of Gilbert; Mark Morrow of Remsen; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Pat Morrow and his wife Ruth of Fort Dodge; and sister, Margaret White and her husband Kenny of Sioux Falls, SD. He was preceded in death by his parents; Deloras John and Grace Morrow; son, Jay Morrow, and infant son, Dennis Morrow; brothers, John, and Bill Morrow; and his sisters, Madeline, Mary, Loras, and Rita. Robert J. Morrow was born on October 24, 1922 in Laurens. He attended schools there and graduated from Laurens High School. Following his education he served with the U.S. Army from 1941 to 1945 during WWII. Upon his honorable discharge he moved to Fort Dodge. In 1948, he was united in marriage to Beulah Mains at Corpus Christi Church and the couple made their home in Fort Dodge. Bob worked for National T, Big D, and Eddies Grocery before beginning his 30 year career at Hy-Vee as a meat cutter. He enjoyed family trips to Okoboji, fishing, hunting, golfing, and riding his bike. Bob was a member of the V.F.W. Post 1856. He was a loving, supporting, and wonderful husband, father, brother, grandpa, and great grandpa. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
