Robert Selhaver

Robert (Robbie) D. Selhaver Jr., 47, of Fort Dodge passed away June 28, 2018 in Brighton, Colorado. Celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2018 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. A visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Robbie is survived by his wife, Shelly; daughters, Echo and Marjarie; son, Dan; two grandsons; sister, Paula Mallinger; and father, Robert "Buster". He was preceded in death by his mother, Bev ; son, Dustyn; and sisters, Dawn Marie and Kelly Jo. Robert was born January 24, 1971. He attended Fort Dodge Schools. After his education, Robbie went to work as an auto mechanic. He worked for Jim's Service for many years. After the stations closing, Robbie went to work with his father in the tree service business. On September 27, 1997, Robbie was united in marriage to his best friend, Shelly Klein. Robbie enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting and riding ATVs. Above all, he loved his family and spending time with them. Robbie liked to help others and continued to do so with the donation of his organs. Memorials may be left to the family's discretion.
