Roger Weiss

Roger Weiss, 60, of Webster City passed away Friday, September 1, 2023 at Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM in the Lodge at Camp Wa-No-Ki. (2400 Wa-No-Ki Road, Fort Dodge, IA) Roger is survived by his son Nick Weiss (Molly), step-son Brad Taylor (Jeni), grandchildren Bre, Keanna, Addy, Carsen, Brayden, and Brilee, and brothers Rick (Jackie) Weiss and Bob Weiss. He was preceded in death by his parents Glenn Weiss and Mary (Ewing) Rowe, step dad William "Buzz" Rowe, step son Adam Taylor, and brothers Randy Weiss and Jimmy Weiss. Roger Alan Weiss was born September 1, 1963 in Fort Dodge. He attended area schools including Fort Dodge Senior High School. He worked as a auto body technician at Smithway Motor Express and Curt Bacon Body Shop and was a jack of all trades at Mariners Pier 31 Yacht Club in Lake of the Ozarks. He loved hunting, fishing and smoking meat for everyone to enjoy. Roger continually tinkered on boats and cars. He could always be found down on the dock at Lake of the Ozarks.
