Rose Mary Holm, 95, of Fort Dodge passed away Monday, August 30, 2021 at Friendship Haven. Funeral services will be at noon Saturday, September 4, 2021 at the Celebration Center, Friendship Haven. A visitation will begin at 10:30 AM until the start of the service at the Celebration Center. Burial will be at Corpus Christi Cemetery. Laufersweiler Funeral Home is serving the family. Rose is survived by her sons, Dr. Michael (Patty) of Owatonna, MN; Dr. Richard of Manson; grandchildren, Chris (Lori) Holm of Owatonna, MN and their children, Ashley and Sam, Dr. Culley (Traci) Holm of Humboldt and their children, Carter, Hayden, and Lillian; Courtney (Dr. Brandon) Ulstad of Madison, MN and their children, Charlie, JT, and Kate, and Allison (Dr. Michael) Drey of Sartell, MN and their children, Camden and Hadley; and sister, Margaret Edwards of Chicago, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Ann (Lauer) Wohn, husband Harold, sisters, Helen Bellingtier, Betty Clarken, Catherine Cain, Mary Brennan, Ann Schmidt, Pauline Korte and Sr. Fran Wohn BVM. Rose Mary Wohn was born December 26, 1925 in Fort Dodge. She graduated from Corpus Christi Academy in 1944. On November 28, 1946, Rose was united in marriage to Harold Holm at Corpus Christi Church. The couple made their home in Duncombe first and then later moved to a farm near Manson in 1955. In 1975, the family moved to Fort Dodge and still continued to farm in the Manson area. Rose worked in the office at Hormels for 28 years until retiring in 1982. Rose enjoyed many years playing golf at Lakeside and also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. Memorials may be left to St. Mary's Faith Formation Program.
