Rosetta M. (Hanson) Seaver, 88, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2018, at Simpson Health Care Center, Friendship Haven. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 23rd at 10:00 AM at Corpus Christi Church with Rev. James Tigges officiating the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 PM with a Vigil Prayer Service at 5:00 PM all at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family. Rose is survived by her daughters, Keeley (Steve) Costigan of Los Alamos, NM; Valentina Hanson of Denver, CO; son, Brian Hanson of Overland Park, KS; step-son, Mitchell (Claudia) Seaver of Ketchikan, AL; step-daughter, Michelle (Scott) Sanders of Des Moines; grandchildren, Adele Rizzuto (Dan); Gwen Costigan (Garren Moss); Matthew Hanson; Michael Hanson; step-grandchildren, Sean Seaver (Danielle Samblanet); Ryan (Umeko) Seaver; Kellen Sanders; and Logan Sanders; brother, Donald Galloro of Huntington Beach, CA; and her sister, Gloria Forster of Durand, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Edvidge (Trevisol) Galloro; her 1st husband, Eldon Hanson in 1980; and her 2nd husband Dr. Wesley Seaver in 2014; brothers, Joseph and Tony Gallaro Jr.; her sisters, Mary Mitchell and Emma Meehan. Rosetta M. Galloro was born on May 26, 1929, in Ogden, IA. She was raised and educated in Ogden, graduating from Ogden High School in 1947. Rosetta then moved to Fort Dodge and worked for Mutual of Omaha. She later worked for Martin Flag Company. Rose was united in marriage to Eldon Hanson on February 4, 1958. The couple made their home in Fort Dodge. Eldon passed away in 1980. Rose worked for the Catholic School System for 27 years; spending 17 years at Corpus Christi and 10 years at St. Edmond High School. She retired in 1996. Rose was united in marriage to Dr. Wesley Seaver on July 5, 1997. The couple established their home in Fort Dodge and enjoyed spending the winter months in Arizona. Memorials may be left to Friendship Haven Good Samaritan Fund or to Unity Point Home Hospice.
