Roy Gene Meyers

Roy G. Meyers, 82, of Fort Dodge passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. Roy's wishes were for cremation and private family services. Laufersweiler Funeral Home is serving the family. Roy is survived by his step children Jaimie (Jeremy) Crimmins, Joe (Jodie) Grandors, Jennifer (Brad) Spencer, children Ronald Meyers of Dows, Shirley Merril, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren all of Fort Dodge. Roy was preceded in death by his parents Harry Henry and NiLore Mae (Isaacson) Meyers. Roy Gene Meyers was born February 26, 1940 in Hampton, Iowa. For over 30 years he worked for USG. On December 24, 1987, Roy was united in marriage to Judy Grandors. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and camping. Roy raised and rode horses. But above all he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
