Ruth M. Pecoy

Rockwell City Ruth M. PeCoy 92, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021 at the Sunny Knoll Care Centre, Rockwell City. Burial was at Rosehill Cemetery, Rockwell City. Palmer & Swank Funeral Home, Rockwell City is in charge of arrangements. Ruth is survived by her son Gail (Joan) Cripe of Jolley; daughter Karyn (Paul) Juilfs of Pomeroy; 9 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter Sara; parents, Frances and Gladys (Schamel) Clark; one brother; and two sisters. Ruth M. Clark was born July 31, 1928 at Lake City, Iowa. She was raised and educated in Lohrville until moving with her family to Rockwell City where she graduated from Rockwell City High School. Ruth spent many years raising and showing champion Ponies of America. In 2018, she became a resident of Sunny Knoll Care Centre.
