Sally Ann Cerwick

Sally Ann Cerwick, 81, of Iowa Falls, formerly of Fort Dodge, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023 in Iowa Falls. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 24, 2023 at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Burial will follow at North lawn Cemetery. A visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Survivors include her children Randy (Windy) Cerwick of Fort Dodge, Ron (Teri) Cerwick of Hardy, Ray (Naima) Cerwick of Perry, Tom (Michelle) Cerwick of Dakota City, Julie (Scott) Shimon of Pocahontas, 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, siblings Karen (Jim) Tabat, Tom Windler, Norine (Eric) Fields, Sandy Lee, Julie Windler, Bill (Sherry) Windler, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Russ and Mildred (Johnson) Windler and grandsons James, Jesse, and Sean Cerwick. sister-in-law Cindy Windler and brother-in-law Harry Lee. Sally Ann Windler was born on September 16, 1941, in Fort Dodge. She graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School. She was married to Jim Cerwick and the couple made Fort Dodge their home. Sally worked various jobs but was always a loving homemaker. Sally loved her animals, tending to her garden and flowers, fishing, camping, music, dancing, the outdoors, bird watching, and was an amazing roller skater. She also dearly loved her grandchildren. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
