Sandra K Graybill

Sandra K. Graybill, 69, of Fort Dodge passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, March 23, 2012 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home and 10:30 AM at a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church. A visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, with a Vigil at 7:00 and a Rosary immediately following at the funeral home. Sandra is survived by her husband, Keith; son, Mark and his wife Jane Graybill of Lakeville, MN; four grandchildren, Allison; Eric; Sandra; and Mackenzie; brothers, Michael and Robert Spencer of Fort Dodge and Karl Spencer of Las Vegas, NV. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph C. and Esther (Paulsen) Spencer; daughter, Kathryn Graybill and niece, Cindy Spencer. Sandra K. Spencer was born July 20, 1943 in Rapid City, South Dakota. As an infant Sandra and her family moved to Lake City and later to Fort Dodge. Here, she attended school in the Catholic School System and graduated Saint Edmond in 1961. She then attended Bernel Beauty School and graduated in 1963. She worked as a beautician until 1973. Five years later she began work as a Lab technician for USG. Following retirement in 2005, Sandy centered her life around her faith, family, and friends. She was former member of NHCA (National Hairdresser Cosmetology Association) and Holy Trinity Parish. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
