Sandra K. Davis, 58, of Fort Dodge passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. A Celebration of Life will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at St. Olaf Church with Rev. John Sersland officiating. Private burial will be held at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. Sandy is survived by her son, Jason and wife Christy Lumsden; grandchildren, Ashlyn and Nolan Lumsden; significant other, Robert Gibbs; sisters, Julie (Butch); Loretta Ducker; Marsha (Paul) Waldschimdt; all of Fort Dodge; Diana Nims of Houston, TX; brother, Robert J. Lumsden of Fort Dodge; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Sara (Peterson) Lumsden; husband, Richard Davis in 2004. Sandra K. Lumsden was born May 12, 1959 in Fort Dodge. She graduated from Saint Edmond High School. Sandy was united in marriage to Richard Davis and the couple established their home in Fort Dodge. Richard later passed away. She had always worked in food service and at one time owned her own restaurant. In 2005, she met the love of her life Robert Gibbs and they made their home in Fort Dodge. Sandy enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, and her beloved dogs. Sandy especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
