Rockwell City Sarah Elizabeth "Beth" Reideler 76, passed away Monday, September 27, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer. Graveside Service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Rosehill Cemetery, Rockwell City, with Pastor Jim Davis officiating. Palmer & Swank Funeral Home, Rockwell City is serving the family. Beth is survived by her son Jason Wells and his wife Laurie; grandchildren, Sawyer (15), and Renan (11), all of Boulder, Colorado; and her sisters, Mary (Dave) Gidel of Twin Lakes, Iowa, and Roberta Reideler of Boone, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, RJ "Bob" and Helenrose (Nelson) Reideler. Sarah Elizabeth "Beth" Reideler was born in Cherokee, Iowa, on September 30, 1944, to loving parents RJ and Helenrose Reideler. She was soon joined by two sisters, Mary and Roberta, and the family eventually settled in Rockwell City, Iowa. After graduating from high school, Beth attended Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa, before heading out for adventure in the West, eventually landing in Montrose, Colorado, to start a family. Beth was a lifelong artist, specializing in woven wall hangings. She enjoyed decorating her house with the seasons and caring for the many pets she loved. She spent her professional career helping the less fortunate, and throughout her life, gave generously to causes and organizations she believed in. She loved the outdoors and was quick to smile and laugh.
