Sarah Rose Hoefling

Sarah R. Hoefling, 58, of Fort Dodge, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Trinity Regional Medical Center, Fort Dodge. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 10th, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. at First Covenant Church, 201 Ave. H - Fort Dodge, with Pastor Allan Redenius, officiating. A visitation will be on Friday, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at First Covenant Church. Sarah is survived by her husband, Ron of Fort Dodge; children, Rebekah Hoefling; Micah Hoefling; sisters, Leah (Les) Simpson; Rhoda (Gary) McDuffey; Priscilla (Michael) Walters; Joanna (Bart) McCaffery; brother-in-law, Thomas (Sienna) Hoefling; sister-in-law, Theresa (Stephen) Tunender; numerous nieces and nephews; step-grandmother, Leanne Hartman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Mildred (Epperly) McGuire. Sarah Rose McGuire was born October 15, 1957 in San Jose, CA. She moved to Fort Dodge at a young age and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High. She was united in marriage to Ronald Hoefling on May 4, 1991 at First Covenant Church, and the couple established their home in Fort Dodge. Sarah was a very loving person and was always lending a helping hand to anyone in need. She spent countless hours volunteering her time at the Salvation Army.
