Shirley L. Reisner, 86, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the Marian Home. It was Shirley's wishes to be cremated and private family services will be held at a later date. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family. Survivors include her daughter, JoAnn Hoft and her husband Bill of Fort Dodge; grandchildren, Kirsten Filzen and her husband Dave of St. Peter, MN; Dustin Laird and his wife Crystal of Minnesota Lake, MN; Ryan Reisner and his wife Lisa; Alecia Moritz and her husband Matt both of Fort Dodge; Trisha Lemnah and her husband, Dave of Castle Rock, CO; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Tanner, and Jared Filzen; Abigail and Arianna Laird; Kenzie Flaherty; Addison, Ella, and Drew Moritz; Reese and Tenley Lemnah and Calahan Reisner. She was preceded in death by her parents, Christopher and Anna (Scott) Wolff; son, Paul Reisner, and husband Herbert Reisner. Shirley Louise Wolff was born on August 19, 1928, in Chicago, IL. As a young child she moved with her family to Fort Dodge. Following her education she worked at Fort Dodge Tent and Awning, Farm Egg, Globe Union, and also Gus Glaser Meats. In March of 1947, she was united in marriage to Herbert Reisner and the coupe made their home in Fort Dodge and Humboldt. Herbert passed away in 1975. Shirley enjoyed socializing and loved spending time with her family. In 1982, she met Howard Brown and they formed a friendship that lasted 17 years until Howard passed away.
