Steven D. Crouse

Lytton Steven D. Crouse 61, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at his home in Lytton. Graveside Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Crown Hill Cemetery, Jolley, with Pastor Anita Bane officiating. Palmer & Swank Funeral Home, Rockwell City is serving the family. Steven is survived by his sons, Brandon (Melissa) Crouse of Yelm, Washington and Austin (Caroline) Crouse of Somerville, Massachusetts; two grandchildren, McKaylee and Hudson Crouse; parents, Duane "Bill" and Shirley Crouse of Twin Lakes; and brother Jeff (Amy) Crouse of Fort Dodge; and other relatives and friends. Steven Duane Crouse was born June 10, 1959 at Fort Dodge, Iowa. He graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High and attended Iowa State University. Steven was united in marriage to Julie Knutson and two sons were born to this union. The couple later divorced. Steven owned and operated a pool cleaning business in California for many years, and played in the band "Lenny Zero". He moved to Springfield, Missouri where he worked as an iron worker in construction. In 2012, he made his home at Lytton where he worked for Essentia Protein Solutions/Proliant until his retirement. Steven enjoyed playing his guitar and riding motorcycles.
