The couple established their home in Clare. They owned and operated Jim's Auto Sales in Clare, where Susie detailed countless vehicles. The also owned and operated the Trading Post in Clare. Susie and Jim enjoyed doing everything together and they were great partners on the farm. Susie was a very talented artist, loving to draw and paint. Her creativity exploded during the holidays. Christmas was a decorated extravaganza. Every holiday was special to Susie because she got to show off decorative skills and she always included her bear collection. She was very proud of her Native American culture and showed it in her home. She had a green-thumb and was an amazing gardener and landscaper. Her love of hearts was evident in her heart shaped garden beds, play house and even included a giant heart in the wall of her home. Susie and Jim took many motorcycle rides together during their summers. But above all, Susie loved to snowmobile. The couple traveled out west to ride, especially to their favorite place Yellowstone. Eventually the couple retired in Island Park, Idaho so they could be close to the "powder". Susie was a generous, loving caregiver and hardworking woman that lived life to its fullest. She will be greatly missed. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
