Tera Klein

Tera J. Klein, 41, of Fort Dodge passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Trinity Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 10:30 Thursday, October 17, 2024 in the chapel of Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Burial will follow. A visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.

Tera is survived by her husband Bobby Klein and his son Riley Klein of Fort Dodge; children, Tiera (Jordan) Thomas, Chyla Altman-Panzi, and Kylie Cox all of Fort Dodge; granddaughter, Amara Thomas; mother, Terri Kurtz of Fort Dodge; grandmother, Patty Patterson of Fort Dodge; and siblings, Chris Kurtz of Fort Dodge, Alisa Kurtz of Fort Dodge, Jerry Mosley of Sioux City, and Jeremy "Mo" Altman of Fort Dodge.

She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Altman; grandfather, Rich Patterson; and mother-in-law, Angel Klein.

Tera Jean Altman was born June 14, 1983 in Fort Dodge. She attended area schools. Tera was as stubborn as they came. No matter what she was going through or how she was feeling, she made it a point to make everyone else have the best day ever. She was incredibly thoughtful and selfless to no end. She took care of her friends and loved ones before she took care of herself. It was her goal to make others happy. Tera enjoyed crafting and listening to music, especially Kevin Gates. She loved traveling, shopping and the thrill of roller coasters. Tera and Bobby would fly to Chicago or St. Louis, and Minneapolis just to shop at Mall of America even if it was only for an hour. Bobby took her to the Great Wolf Lodge and to ride roller coasters. Her dream was to see the sights of New York. She was honest and as trustworthy as they came. She will be deeply missed by her husband and family, friends and all who knew her.
