Terry Riles

Callender - Terry A. Riles, 65, passed away Monday, February 10, 2025, at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Laufersweiler Palmer & Sons Funeral Home in Gowrie. Graveside services will be held at a later date.

Terry is survived by his wife, Judy; daughters, Niccole Riles, Michele Riles, and Brittany Riles all of Fort Dodge; son-in-law Conor Halligan of Fort Dodge; brothers, Michael (Rink) Riles of Gilmore City, and Robert (Cathy) Riles of Muscatine. He is preceded in death by his sister, Connie Riles, and parents, Robert and Lois (Waterbury) Riles.

Terry Alan Riles was born in Algona on July 26, 1959, and graduated from Humboldt High School. After school, he served in the US Army as an Army Ranger from 1978 to 1994. Terry was united in marriage to Judy Leytham on July 11, 1981. They traveled the US before returning to Iowa in 1994. In 2016 the couple settled in Callender. Terry was a firearms safety instructor and enjoyed working in the garden, canning, and making the best moonshine.
