Theodore J Grim Jr.

Theodore J. Grim, Jr., 70, of Webster City passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the Fort Dodge Villa Care Center. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Friday, October 19, 2018 in the chapel of Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Rev. John Elkin officiating. A visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the start of the service at the funeral home. Theodore is survived by his wife of 35 years, Ellen; children, Sheila Hilpipre of Webster City, Teressa Fox of Cedar Rapids, Teddy (Mary Jo) Grim of Goldfield, Teresa Moss of Des Moines, Greg Moss of Ankeny, Lisa Moss of Eagle Grove, John Moss of Nebraska; 15 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore Sr. and Mary (Hiatt) Grim; siblings, Merle Grim, Donna Grim, and Mary Ida "Frances" Wood. Theodore John Grim was born March 8, 1948 in Iowa City. He was educated in the Humboldt school system. He married Ella Sorenson on June 14, 1966 and the couple established their home in Humboldt and later Webster City. The couple later divorced. Theodore worked for Cessford Construction Company throughout Iowa all of his adult life. He retired in 2008 due to his failing health. He had a fierce passion for riding his Harley Davidson as much as he could. He loved going on poker runs and riding with his family and friends. Memorials may be left to family discretion.
