Theresa Ann McDonald, 83, of Fort Dodge, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014 at her home. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. on Monday, August 25, 2014 in the Chapel of Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home and 10:30 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating. Burial will be in St. Josephs Cemetery in Duncombe. A visitation will be 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home, with a Vigil at 6:00 P.M. Survivors include her sons, John (Chris) McDonald of Denver, CO; Joe McDonald of Fort Dodge; Timothy (Laura) McDonald of Webster City; Tom (Kim) McDonald of Fort Dodge; daughter, Tracy (Tim) Adams of Markleville, IN; four grandchildren, Amy and Aaron of Manson; Brad of Webster City; Elizabeth of Des Moines; and sister, Mary Bradley of Fort Dodge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard McDonald; parents, John and Elizabeth (Fox) Bradley; daughter, Mary Ann; son, Terry; brothers, Edward, Jack, Chuck and Hugh Bradley; sisters, Rosie Anderson, Betty Jacobson and Josephine Telfer. Theresa Ann Bradley was born May 14, 1931 in rural Pocahontas County. Her family moved to Gilmore City where Theresa attended St. John's Grade School, graduating from Gilmore City High School in 1949. Theresa was united in marriage to Howard McDonald on December 3, 1956. The couple then moved to Fort Dodge where she worked at several places before becoming a Fuller Brush Distributor since 1973. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and Rosary Society. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
