Thomas Kent Bradley

Thomas K. Bradley, 55, of Fort Dodge passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Trinity Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 16th at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Humboldt. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include his daughters, Megan Jefferson and her husband Derrick and their daughter, Cambri of Grimes; Shayla Bradley of Fort Dodge; son, Joshua Bradley of Fort Dodge; parents, John "Jack" and Donna Bradley of Humboldt; brothers, Dave Schrieber and his wife Teresa of Vero Beach, FL; Brad Schrieber and his wife Deb of Tauton, MN; and his sister, Kristi Newton and her husband Mark of Dakota City. He was preceded in death by his wife Cynthia Bradley in 1999 and an infant daughter, Brianna Bradley. Thomas K. Bradley was born on August 24, 1957 in Ida Grove, Iowa. The family moved to Humboldt where he attended schools and graduated from Humboldt High School. Tom then attended the North West Iowa Technical College in Sheldon, IA. He worked for Knutson Refrigeration and Electrical for a few years. Tom then went to work at Fort Dodge Animal Health, now known as B.I.V.I., retiring in October of 2012 after 30 years as project engineer. In 1982, he was united in marriage to Cynthia A. Behrends at Faith United Methodist Church in Humboldt. The couple made their home in Fort Dodge, later moving to Badger. They returned to Fort Dodge in 1989. He enjoyed hunting and riding his Harley Davidson. Tom truly loved to spend time with his children. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
