Tina Roberts

Tina R. Roberts, 59, of Barnum passed away Friday, April 15, 2016 at Trinity Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating. A visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Tina Rae Ryan was born January 29, 1957 in Storm Lake. She attended St. Mary's and public schools in Storm Lake, graduating from Storm Lake High School. After graduation, Tina worked in various retail jobs before starting her in home day care. She was united in marriage to Michael Roberts on August 28, 1976 in Storm Lake. In 1990, the couple moved to Barnum, where Tina continued her in home day care. Tina enjoyed crocheting and cooking. She liked to scrapbook and do word searches. The most important thing to Tina was family, especially her "grand babies". Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Mike; son, Walker Roberts of Fort Dodge; daughter-in-law, Amy Roberts; granddaughters, Haley and Piper; sister, Tami Dean of Alta; brother, James Kerry Ryan on Las Vegas, NV and step father, Don Meyer of Storm Lake. She was preceded in death by her son, Tanner Roberts, and her mother, Yvonne (Shannon) Meyer. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
