Trent Lee Barringer

Rockwell City- Trent L. Barringer, 55, passed away Friday, April 22, 2022 at his home following a lengthy illness. A visitation will be 11:00 to 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Palmer & Swank Funeral Home, Rockwell City, followed by a graveside service at 2:30 PM at Rosehill Cemetery, Rockwell City with Pastor Dillon Brandt officiating. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family. Trent is survived by his wife Janiece Barringer; children, Tessa Barringer (Mario) of Rockwell City, Todd Lee Barringer (Mirella) of Lincoln, NE, DJ (Jana) Braswell of Branson, MO, Amber Maloney of Rockwell City, Shelby (Christian) Campbell of Rockwell City, Denise Schoenbaum (Zach) of Hartley; 19 grandchildren; mom Loretta Barringer of Atlantic; siblings, Troy, Tanya, Russ, Casey, Nicole, Ashley; other family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and dad, Mick Barringer. Trent Lee Barringer was born July 8, 1966. He was born and raised in Iowa. He started operating a crane at the age of 17 and it has been his passion ever since. On May 26, 2012 he was united in marriage to Janiece Daisy and the couple made their home in Rockwell City. Trent was a man who lived life to the fullest. He had a sense of humor that was second to none, whether it was his signature wave or a joke among friends. He had a passion for welding and was a "McGyver" when it came to anything. He loved animals, being outside, and stacking rocks. He enjoyed music especially AC/DC and lived on Red Bull but most of all he loved his family.
