Victoria Joy White

Victoria J. White, 69, of Fort Dodge, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2015 at her home. Memorial Services will be held on Monday, August 10th at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, with Rev. Mike Willer, officiating. A visitation will be on Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family. Vicki is survived by her guardian and family member, Jackie Surles of Fort Dodge; family members, Theresa, Dave, Tristin and Ellie Doster of Moorland and Andrea and Matthew Surles of Fort Dodge; brothers, Robert (Sue) White of Goldsboro, North Carolina; Art White of Nevada; 5 nieces and nephews. Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Mary White; family member, Matthew Surles; sister, Elmarine; and her brother, James White. Victoria J. White was born on August 15, 1945 in Boone. She made her home in Fort Dodge with Edith Hepperle and the Surles family. Vicki graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School. She worked for the Fort Dodge Public School System in the food service department for 42 years. After retiring from the school system in 2005, she worked for the Citizens Central for a number of years. Vicki was very active at Trinity United Methodist Church and a member of Rachel Circle. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
