Victoria Lee Presler

Victoria Lee Presler, 75, of Fort Dodge passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. A funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 22, 2014 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church with Rev. Durand officiating. Burial will follow at North Lawn Cemetery. A visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. Victoria Lee (Auten) Presler, the daughter of Charles and Margaret Auten was born July 13, 1939 in Fort Dodge. She was raised and educated in Fort Dodge. Vicki married Robert Presler on December 1, 1963 and the couple established their home in Fort Dodge. Vicki was a homemaker, loving wife, and mother, who was dedicated to her family. Vicki is survived by her husband, Robert; sons, Robert Jr. (Ann) of Earlham, IA and Thomas (Tomoko) of Honolulu, HI; granddaughters, Abby and Ally Presler; brother, Gerald (Ruth) Auten of Fort Dodge; sisters, Nancy Brodie of Moravia, IA; Suzann (Roy) Tallman of Harcourt, IA; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Wilbert and Douglas. Vicki will be remembered for her love for her granddaughters and family. Also, she will be remembered for her beautiful flower garden and her love of flowers. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
