Rockwell City Victoria T. Stumpf 78, passed away Friday, October 21, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at St. Francis Catholic Church, Rockwell City, with Fr. Lynn Bruch and Fr. Michael Amadeo concelebrating at the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial of casket will be at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, at St. Francis Catholic Church, Rockwell City, with a Parish Rosary at 3:30p.m. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family. The Funeral Mass will be live streamed on the Palmer & Swank Funeral Home Facebook Page. Vickie "the Queen" is survived by her husband Thomas; her children, Dr. Todd Stumpf of North Twin Lakes, Tony (Jean) Stumpf of Booneville, Arkansas, Tamara (Wayne) Pederson of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Tricia Stumpf of Rockwell City, Teresa (Todd) Landt of Charles City, and Troy (Carolyn) Stumpf of Cedaredge, Colorado; 17 grandchildren, Shanda (Teresa Moss) Stumpf, Taren (Ryan) Flug, Vanessa (Cody) Hays, Jarret (Ashley) Harbour, Anna Stumpf, Ashlee (Kevin) Wein, Brandon (Chelsie) Pederson, Bryce (fianc Mariah) Pederson, Elizabeth (Michael) Fialkowski, Briana (fianc Michael) Pederson, Shaley Landt, Keely Landt, Shau Landt, Jace Landt, Cole Stumpf, Nate Stumpf, and Emma Stumpf; 10 great-grandchildren, Birdie, Cal, Pippa, Natalie, Adam, Olivia, Clara, Poppy, Charlee, and Camryn; brothers, Russell Miller of Anchor Point, Alaska, and Dr. Casey Miller of Nemaha; and other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Dona (Russell) Miller; brother Scott Miller; and infant brother and sister, Marc and Jane Miller. Victoria Thye Miller was born November 24, 1943 at Iowa City, Iowa. She attended Rockwell City High School and later received her nursing degree from Iowa Central Community College. On January 13, 1962 she was united in marriage to Thomas Stumpf at St. Francis Catholic Church in Rockwell City. The couple made their home on the Stumpf family farm west of Rockwell City. Vickie "NO1DOE" helped farm and care for the livestock. She also worked as a nurse at Stewart Memorial Community Hospital before working at the Fort Dodge Medical Center. She enjoyed shopping, quilting, sewing, reading, and gardening. Vickie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a faithful member of St. Francis Catholic Church, and a member of the Altar Society.
