Vivian Smith

Vivian L. Collins Smith, 73, of Fort Dodge was called home at 10:48 P.M. surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home. Private family services will be held. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family. Vivian Louise Collins was born July 15, 1946 to Bob and Bernice (Bennett) Collins. Vivian was the 3rd of 9 girls. She attended area schools and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School. She was a CNA and CMA at various area nursing homes in Fort Dodge. She loved to crochet and play Bingo. Survivors include her daughter, Cassandra Collins and her children, Desmond (Shania) Collins, DaQuan Altman all of Fort Dodge and DaTerra Altman (Cole) of Eagle Grove, her son, Craig Collins and his children, Justin Foy, TyCrai and Tyreike Miracle all of Fort Dodge and Tyshir Collins of Des Moines; her sisters, Linda Collins of Fort Dodge, Nancy Mix and Joyce Mehmen of Springfield, MO, Susan Collins of Mitchellville, and Kathy Davis of MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harry Smith, daughter, Jocelyn Collins, son, Lucius Collins, sisters, Ella Marie Collins and Roberta Joan Collins, and great-granddaughter, Jocelyn Kae-Marie Collins. Memorials may be left to family discretion.
