Wanda Simpson Hannaford

Wanda R. Hannaford passed away at the age of 67 on Friday, September 21, 2018 at her summer home in Osage Beach, Missouri. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Rev. Patrick Behm officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Township Cemetery, Duncombe. A visitation will be 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Wanda was born on March 21, 1951 in Ft. Dodge to Clifford and Bonnie (Hiveley) Simpson. She attended Ft. Dodge public schools and graduated from Ft. Dodge Senior High in 1969. Wanda later relocated to southern California where she spent most of her life before moving to Arizona. During her career, her job allowed her to travel and see many places throughout the world. Wanda loved spending time with her family and friends and eventually began spending her summers at Lake of the Ozarks to be closer to family members. Wanda was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Simpson, of Ft. Dodge and her husband Gordon Hannaford. She is survived by her mother Bonnie Simpson of Ft. Dodge, brother Daniel (Nikki) Simpson of Lake St. Louis, MO., sister Susan (LeRoy) Sprecher of Ogden, niece Skylar Simpson, nephews John Sprecher, Jason Hanna, and Sebastian Simpson and many cousins and friends. Services will be held at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. Memorials may be left to Siteman Cancer Center at Washington University - or Lake Regional Hospital Hospice - .
