Wayne Mueller

Wayne L. Mueller, 83, of Liberty, MO, whose wife is formerly of Fort Dodge, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at the Celebration Center in Friendship Haven. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery. There will be a visitation on Thursday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Celebration Center.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Janet Mueller of Liberty, MO; children, Mark (Nicole) Mueller of Boerne, TX, and Michael Mueller of Liberty, MO; grandchildren, Brittany, Brooke, Brody, and Brilynn Mueller; siblings, Joan (Jim) Hayes of Lexington, KY, and Dave (Sherry) Mueller of Apple Valley, CA; and a very special thanks to Shelley Mueller for all her loving care.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Rose (Goekeke) Mueller and siblings, Bill, Marilyn, and Jim.

Wayne Lester Mueller was born May 20, 1941, in Franklin, WI. When he was 15 years old, he moved to California. At 17 he enlisted into the Navy Reserves and was honorably discharged on July 7, 1964. On August 6, 1966, he was united in marriage to Janet Zuerrer in Ontario, CA. The couple established their home in Ontario where they lived for 45 years before moving to Liberty, MO in 2009.
